Interesting things from my books!
I do research what I write, and I won't usually include something unless I'm fairly sure it's accurate. I mean, it's fiction, so there is room to wiggle.
Low myostatin inhibitors.
Yes, this happens. What is it? Myostatin tells our muscles to stop growing. In certain breeds of cattle this will happen, producing a Ahhnold Schwartzenegger like cow with incredible muscle mass. This has happened to some humans, most notably an Australian boy who was lifting 85 kilos at age five.

Murderous PMS
Yep. Looked it up. Although it won't get you out of jail.

Smell Power
Some people do have an incredible sniffer. In a field test dogs always outperformed humans, but humans could still track a chocolate smell across a football field.

Vampires disease
Aplastic Anemia. It's not exactly like a vampire disease, since ingestion of blood would not be metabolized. Blood transfusions work, and that's why I included this idea in one of my books.

Location, location, location
All the locations in my book are real, except for the ones that aren't.
Real ones are the brick building on Catherine Street, the Hudson Bay Center, St. Ann's Academy, Curtea de Arges, the Visz river, the Carpathians. Google search a place in my book. Go ahead. I'll add links to the actual places here in a bit.
Clothing
When possible I've used actual clothing designers or product names. Void where prohibited.
Questions? Lack of believability? Go ahead, make my day:
