Parents,
Imagination is a child's most important asset. From the educational adventure shows featuring Dora and her "magic" backpack, to My Little Pony and even Star Wars, children are encouraged to participate in the "unreal" as a way to think outside the box.
Santa should not be an exception to this.
In time, your child will learn that certain things do not actually happen. Ideas like using the "force" will not move objects for them, or that there really isn't a magical unicorn that could live in the woods near their home.
Until then, there is nothing wrong with playing the Game of Santa, a way to encourage the idea of imagination and wonder. Eventually they will put such childish ideas away, in the meantime why not have fun with it?
Anyone can go out and buy a Christmas card, and right now, most cost about $7.00.
But what if you could get a special, personalized card from Santa himself?
That's where I come in! Tell me a little about your child, like their name and age, as well as a little tidbit of information, and I will mail a handwritten (calligraphy) letter and card straight from Santa himself. (Other sites charge you up to $20 just for a photocopied letter!)
A possible entry might read like this:
"Dear Susan,
I know you have been trying very hard to be a good person. Being eight is very difficult for many people, with so many new things to learn and friends to make. And sometimes we all make mistakes, like when you stepped on the cats tail because you were angry. You know what? Everyone gets upset, and I know that you try to be good in your heart, so don't worry, I still have you on my Good List. Be merry this Christmas, and share your happiness with everyone you can!
I'll see you soon,
Sincerely,
Kris Kringle (Santa)"
So instead of buying a card that you might not have time to fill out, order my card, and keep the fun alive.
WHEN ORDERING PLEASE CONTACT ME WITH YOUR ORDER NUMBER, OTHERWISE I CANNOT PERSONALIZE THE CARD. So as soon as you have your order number, use it in the subject heading of the contact form, and provide the following additional details; age, name, and "fact" about the child only Santa would know (like a funny situation or misdeed).
