I've been reviewing other Indie Writer's books, and the process is at once rewarding and draining. It is a lyrical tour de force and gripping...
Whoops. Spilling into my own blog. I find myself writing more and more in cliches, which is fine if a cliche is true and not just used for its own sake. Unfortunately I have been writing my own stuff less, and editing even more less (and using oxymorons like "even more less"). HELP! I need people to review my stuff, too! I want to sell stories so that I can do this full time ie: wear pajamas all day, drink coffee, and sound pithy!

Not that you asked, but I'm going to give you my two cents anyway and in more than 160 characters on Twitter. If you're looking for someone to review your stuff before publishing, there are a few good crit groups that work online. (I'd suggest mine, but in reading your blog, you're uncomfortable with sex scenes and we do a lot of romance and erotica.) You could find crit buddies to do a run through. If you're talking post-publication, there's always asking book bloggers or reviewers if they'd mind doing a review in exchange for a free copy. Give a little to get a little. Most bloggers post on their site, but some post on Amazon and Goodreads. The thing that SUCKS about this is you have to give shit away for free.

No, that's totally viable advice. I have given away 88 copies so far, and the only person to review my work, bought it.
